Privacy & Cookies

Last updated: 26 October 2026. This notice applies to Korea & Japan Food Guide and describes information involved when you browse this WordPress website. It will be updated when we introduce new services.

Website operation

Our hosting and security providers may process technical request information, such as IP addresses, browser information, requested pages and timestamps, to deliver the website, prevent abuse and diagnose faults. Hosting is provided by Hostinger. Technical records may be handled in countries other than your own, subject to the provider’s arrangements.

Cookies

WordPress uses cookies for functions such as administrator authentication. Logged-in administrators receive cookies that are not necessary for ordinary readers. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies may prevent some website functions from working.

External websites and embedded content

Restaurant, tourism, reservation and map links take you to other services, each with its own privacy policy. Embedded media or maps, when displayed, can transmit your IP address and browser information to their provider and may use cookies. A plain outbound link does not load the destination’s embedded content on this site.

Advertising and analytics

This notice does not claim that Google AdSense has approved this site. Before activating advertising or analytics, we will update this notice to identify the services in use and implement applicable consent controls. Where Google advertising is used, Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on visits to this and other websites. See how Google uses information and Google ad controls. Non-essential advertising technologies will be subject to the choices required in the reader’s region.

Your choices

You may clear browser data, block third-party cookies and choose whether to follow external links. Do not submit payment details, identity documents or other sensitive information through public website features. For access, correction, deletion or other privacy requests, use our Contact page and identify your request without sending sensitive documents. We may need enough information to verify and locate the relevant correspondence.

Contact form information

If you choose to contact us, the form asks for your name, email address, subject and message. We use these details to review and answer the enquiry, investigate corrections and manage related correspondence. Submissions are transmitted using Contact Form 7 and the website’s email system to the site administrator. They are not used for a newsletter subscription. Please do not include sensitive personal information.

We keep correspondence for as long as reasonably necessary to handle the request, maintain a record of a correction or meet applicable obligations. You can ask for deletion through the Contact page; some information may need to be retained for legitimate legal or security reasons.
